Pandora iPad Ad

This interactive advertisement for Pandora was built for the Christmas 2012 edition of GQ’s iPad magazine, and aimed to help readers pick their gifts for friends and family by walking them through a step-by-step process to narrow down the most appropriate gifts from Pandora’s extensive range. It was a great early example of an HTML advert running on iOS and making use of the device’s built-in accelerometer for some added eye-catching extravagance. The multi-layered bokeh in the background would glide elegantly behind the content, responding to the tilting and rotating of the device, adding some extra playfulness to the ad.

The project expanded my capabilities in my early days of javascript programming, by pushing me to explore methods of animation and more complex logic in order to create the complete experience.
